This spring, Ibotta launched an omnichannel campaign called Make It Rain  featuring an immersive pop-up, augmented reality game, branded TikTok filter, out of home placements, and an influencer campaign in partnership with popular meteorologists like Nick Kosir. 
The immersive Make It Rain Cash Cloud toured the country activating at The Oculus in NYC, Chicagos Union Station, and Denvers Ball Arena. After completing a short free registration, participants wound their way through the 30 x 30 space - pausing to have their photo taken at an Optical Illusion and Cloud Swing before scanning a mock receipt for their chance to make it rain real cash. The Make It Rain Cash Cloud delivered a plethora of fun photo moments perfect for social sharing and awarded thousands of dollars to lucky winners.

A play on Ibotta's, "Cash back every time you shop" tag line, the Make It Rain 360 campaign rained cash back across the country both physically and digitially. Ibotta brewed up a cahs back storm - taking over public spaces. Consumers in New York, Chicago and Denver were gifted with free cash back at the eye-catching in-person Make It Rain Cash Cloud activation, while shoppers nationwide earned additional cash back online through an augmented reality (AR) experience.
